Arranging a New Meeting with M
It's been so busy recently, both at work and at home, that I haven't had the time to organise any meetings with either of my lovers.M called me early yesterday though to see if I was free for lunch and we met at our usual bar. He was worried that I'd been turning down all his recent offers of a "night out", but I explained that my responses that things were just too busy with school meetings and general home-life had been perfectly true.
He told me his partner was away on business for two nights at the end of the week and would I like to come to his apartment for a sleep-over.
I'm always curious to see other peoples houses, but of course even more so when it is that of one of my lovers. So I told him I'd check with J and let him know.
J was quite excited when I told him last night. He was immediately suggesting what I should wear, what I should do etc. etc. I told him I was worried that M's partner might suddenly arrive home and perhaps I should suggest meeting on neutral ground at a hotel again. But J told me he was sure M wouldn't have asked me unless he was sure his lady would not be turning-up unexpectedly.
So I've just called M and told him that Thursday night was best for me, but was he sure that his girlfriend wouldn't be home. He laughed and said: "Look, I told you, she's away in Italy and I'm picking her up from the airport on Saturday evening. I'll have a taxi pick you up from your office on Thursday at 6 p.m."
I'm getting tingly typing this, looking forward to my first evening out in over a month (though the excitement in talking about it last night with J led to a wonderful session together after the kids had gone to bed).
Wish me luck . . . I'll post again at the weekend.
Best wishes - Edith
